Nacogdoches, Texas, native John Richard Still provides his fellow community members with long-term financial planning and life insurance services. President of Still Financial Group since 1982, Mr. Still maintains an advanced understanding of the industry backed by his education, experience, and numerous memberships in professional insurance organizations.John Richard Still received the majority of his education from Stephen F. Austin State University. Studying Business Education, he achieved a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from the University. He also enrolled at The University of Houston briefly after obtaining his graduate degree.Now a licensed agent, John Richard Still and Still Financial Group provide a multitude of services. Mr. Still oversees agents who offer retirement planning, and long-term care insurance. His services include estate conservation, business life insurance, disability income, and employee benefits planning.He formerly presided over the Pineywoods Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Similarly, he served on the New York Life Agents Advisory Council. A Financial Services Specialist, Mr. Still is a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow and maintains recognition from the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification, Inc. Notably, for his sales efforts, he is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.Outside the office, John Richard Still functioned as President for multiple boards. These included The Blood Center East Texas, the Nacogdoches County United Way, the Nacogdoches County Industrial Trust, and the Fredonia Rotary Club of Nacogdoches, twice. He also contributed to the local school district, the Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the First Christian Church.
