Jeff Rower is a Senior Advertising Executive with 20 years of experience in a broad range of marketing communication disciplines. His positions have been with some of the world’s most prominent advertising agencies. Mr. Rower’s strengths include leadership, innovation and persuasion. His specific expertise is in account and brand management, and promotions and sponsorships. Mr. Rower is known for developing strategic alliances and partnerships, encouraging advertising talent to create breakthrough campaigns, and effectively managing costs.
Mr. Rower has an extensive history of penetrating markets and forging long-term business-to-business relationships. He has managed numerous regional advertising campaigns, and has been involved throughout his career with product launches for the Chrysler and Ford brands. Mr. Rower is recognized for his ability to build integrated marketing campaigns, as well as to lead and inspire teams to surpass corporate objectives. He fosters revenue growth through message and channel alignment and media partner recruitment. He also adds value to the client relationship by establishing consultative, value-based marketing that enhances the selling process. As an expert at elevating name/brand differentiation and recognition, Mr. Rower is able to generate leads in both growing and mature markets.
Representative accomplishments include:
- Organized the Taiwan Chrysler Dealer Advertising Association to fund advertising and support sales. Generated first DAA billing outside of North America for Bozell Worldwide.
- Supervised the development of media plan and communication campaign promoting Ford’s philanthropic efforts in Nashville, contributing to a 9% sales increase.
- Created dynamic vehicle displays seen by over 2.5 million visitors to FedEx Forum and Bridgestone Arena, and saved the client $1 million annually in negotiations.
- Negotiated Ford to be “Official Truck” of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks and developed a TV and radio campaign to run during football season, resulting in Ford’s truck share increasing 6% while Chevy’s share decreased 1.5%.
Mr. Rower earned an M.A. from the Graduate School of Communication at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising/Public Relations from the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH.
Mr. Rower has served as an Elder at Hope Presbyterian Church, where he has chaired the Caring, Nominating, Adult Education, and Singles ministries. He is also a member of the American Advertising Federation of Memphis, where he has led the Student Development initiative. Mr. Rower enjoys drawing and painting, and appreciates many forms of art.
