Senior Vice President and General Manager of Iron Mountain Government Services (NYSE: IRM)
Company is $2.5+ billion provider of professional business services including information management, records management and data protection services to clients in North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia/Pacific. Successfully established an industry business unit to grow profitable revenue in the public sector, an attempt that two predecessors had failed to achieve. Responsibility includes all core executive leadership and general management of the government services subsidiary (IMGS) with $25+ million in annual revenue.
- Collaborated with several people across the company to gather data and performed analysis to determine the viability of investing in the development of an industry business unit to penetrate the public sector.
- Created an overlay global account program to leverage existing marketing, sales, and service delivery capabilities resulting in increased productivity, revenues, and margin performance.
- Developed strategic plan and executive briefings that communicated the findings and provided clear recommendations on next steps to the Board, Chairman, CEO, COO, and CFO of the company. Achieved approvals to invest in an industry business unit and granted $10 million to execute the approved strategic plan.
- Provided strategic vision, developed business model, built a high-performance team that drove execution of the approved business plan, and cultivated new client relationships.
