Summary

Heike Philp is CEO of let’s talk online sprl (founded 2003) in Brussels, Belgium with expertise in immersive language education. With over 25 years in education and with Germany’s first live online language school, Philp co-initiated four  European funded projects and worked with 47 European partners including 23 universities to develop accredited and certified teacher training courses.  These EU Projects are LANCELOT, AVALON, CAMELOT and GUINEVERE. Philp runs her own annual webconferences: the Virtual Round Table conference for English teachers on how to use technology in class and DaFWEBKON for teachers of German. She co-owns EduNation islands in Second Life and runs workshops online and offline. She conducts and moderates webinars and workshops and is responsible for the technical support as well as facilitation and moderation. Her clients include ministries of education, universities, research organisations, teacher associations, language educators globally, language schools and more. She is committee member of the Digital Committee at IATEFL (Intl. Assc. for Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) and online events organizer for  Learning Technologies Special Interest Group of IATEFL.
