Gabriel's main accountabilities:

• Consolidating & re-aligning a ~1'300 FTE-strong Russian Shared Services organisation (Financial Services, Credit & Collection, Procurement, Information Services, Transportation & Logistics, Compliance)
• Steering the implementation of the Oracle Finance/RtP module across 3 Alcoa Russia Locations (~400 in-scope FTEs)

Gabriel's main accountabilities:

• De facto "Financial Controller" of the Global Credit function - SPA for budgeting, expense-monitoring and performance-reporting processes ("Balanced ScoreCard") for a € 13m, 160 FTE-strong cross-border department
• Co-leading the Global Credit organisation (6-strong Lead Team) through a continuous re-engineering and service-optimisation (cost-reduction) process (-5% YoY target)
  
• Initiating, leading and managing a portfolio of high-impact projects with North-American, European, Australian and Latin American stakeholders - among which:
  • Setting up a best-practice, SOX-compliant Credit/AR operation in Russia (portfolio of > 500 customers)
  • Rolling out across 7 European locations & 40 users a 3rd-party process-optimisation software (€ 380k budget)
  • Re-designing & deploying the organisation's web-based communication platform (Intranet)

Gabriel's main accountabilities:

• Managing Alcoa’s 2nd-largest Regional Credit Office in Europe (2 teams of up to 10 members), with ultimate accountability for open AR of € 220m
• Elevating credit-risk management & collection performance on a portfolio of 2’600 3rd-party customers to best-in-class levels
• Co-leading the European Credit organisation (6-strong Lead Team) through a major realignment in structure and scope
  

Gabriel's main accountabilities:

• Advising leading European multinationals, mostly in the financial-services (retail banking, P&C insurance, e-brokerage) and telecommunications industries, on key strategic & operational issues
• Evolving to a project- and team-leader role in just 18 months, taking on operational responsibility for 3-5 months engagements, involving 8–10 multilingual team members
