Erol Onel

After completing his undergraduate studies with a double major in philosophy and biology from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Dr. Erol Onel attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he became a Pfizer scholar in the field of urology. He also won several writing awards, abilities including a Maurice Greenhill Memorial Prize for Excellence in Medical Authorship and a Max K. Willscher Resident Prize for essay writing. Dr. Erol Onel’s professional history includes tenures as a professor of urology and pathology with Tufts University and a managing partner of Andover Urology with the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He also has held leadership positions with several large pharmaceutical companies.

Over his seven years with Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Erol Onel served a number of senior medical posts in the fields of pain management, post-operative care, oncology, and central nervous system care. Dr. Onel left his position as vice president of clinical research and medical information with Pacira in 2015.
