Ramapo Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, P.C., provides oral surgery and dental services to the borough of Oakland, New Jersey, and surrounding communities. The owner, Dr. Anup Muduli, purchased the nearly quarter-century-old practice in 2008 and now serves the northern New Jersey towns of Wayne, North Haledon, Franklin Lakes, Ringwood, and West Milford as well as Oakland. Dr. Muduli not only treats patients for typical dental conditions, but can address cleft palates, post-trauma reconstruction, and sleep apnea as well. His staff privileges at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson and The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood give him ready access to full hospital facilities for treatment of complex conditions. Dr. Muduli also has privileges at Market Street Surgical Center in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. At this facility, he treats patients who require the services of an anesthesiologist due to serious medical conditions. At his offices in Oakland, Dr. Anup Muduli performs dental and digital X-rays and cone beam CT scans, and he can also conduct oral cancer exams. In addition, he performs gingivectomies and additional periodontal services for patients.

A diplomate with the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, Dr. Anup Muduli has full qualifications and extensive experience with placing patients under general anesthesia for oral surgery. This includes geriatric and pediatric patients. Many orthodontists in the region refer their clients to Dr. Muduli for frenectomies, baby tooth extractions, jaw repositioning, and canine exposures. He also has professional experience with skeletal bone anchorage and temporary anchorage devices (TADs), both relatively new alternatives to surgery for jaw repositioning.
