Early adopter of PPC via www.goto.com the pioneer in pay per click marketing. 10 cents to be number one was nice then! Go To is now Yahoo! Search Marketing which some still refer to as Overture or Inktomi.
When Go To was first introduced I hooked up with a used car dealer and we all made money. At the time I was still operating an upscale Wedding DJ and MC business and to say that GoTo insured I was never to have a Friday, Saturday or Sunday off would be an understatement.
I recommend a mix of clever PPC and organic SEO to this day.
Bill Gross the "inventor" of PPC is one of my few Internet 'heroes" besides Sergey, Larry, Sir Tim and
