David Bergen is a Management Advisory Consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, a role he has held since 2009. Currently, David Bergen is advising Blue Shield IT leadership through an organization-wide IT transformation as it moves from an outsourcer to an internal IT organization. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, David Bergen built a successful career as a senior IT executive and manager at companies, including The Gap, Inc., Esprit de Corps, and Levi Strauss & Co. David Bergen has particularly excelled at developing collaborative team environments, and his strong leadership and insight have proven especially effective in complex, fast-paced environments. Immediately before he assumed his current role, David Bergen was a Management Consultant to T-Mobile, helping optimize its supply chain as well as designing and implementing a new Enterprise PMO. David Bergen earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The recipient of a number of awards and honors over his career, David Bergen has served as a Vice Chair and Keynote Presenter at the Bay Area CIO Forum and an Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. In his spare time, David Bergen takes pleasure in playing tennis and golf.
