I.T. Manager

Major Accomplishments (things i'm especially proud of)

• Recording, producing, editing, mixing, mastering and package design for two live albums, and a full length studio album.
• 12+ short form video advertisements and expositionals
• Design and implementation of multitrack recording setup with intergrated in ear monitoring
• Spearheaded new church logo and branding package, branding implementation guide, churchwide publications branding push.
• Research and implementation of Connection Power, a decentralized ASP model church management system and migration from previous SQL based local system.
• Implementation of churchwide email marketing system
• Transition and migration from local POP3 based email soution to Google Applications
  

Worked as a freelance agent from 2002 to present in I.T., audio-engineering, and design.  A short list of projects follows.  Samples can be found in the portfolio.

• Produced, Mixed, Mastered, Engineered, and designed artwork for local artist Bradford Benjamin on a 7 song EP titled “1000 Hours”
• Recorded 4 song demo for local band Blame It On John
• Remix for UK artist Frou Frou.
• Custom built/repaired computers for individual public users, and consulted on design projects for several different clients
• Graphic design, layout, map creation, trans media file creation of a client mailer, for American Express Tigard Office
• Graphic Design and Media Consultant for 3 local independent music artists. This included web design, poster and show flyers, CD Artwork, and Internet mp3 music distribution.
• Full length album for Eastpark Church, including production, tracking, editing and mixing
• Network mapping, and reinforcement project for Salem First Church of the Nazarene. Project included creative crawlspace wiring in a 80-year old building, server reconfiguration, hub replacements, switch installation, and POE wireless access point placements.

After production training, I worked at a call center for T-Mobile. Responsibilites included resolving billing issues, handset function walkthroughs, and general inquiries.

Complete End-to-end Hardware and Software support for any and all manner of Desktop and Laptop computers, and peripherals such as PIMs, Scanners, Printers, etc. This covers everything from the smallest program to the largest, rolling out new PCs, computer assembly, hardware testing and fitness, retirement of old assets, and everything in-between. Serviced 1600+ users in a campus of 8 buildings.

Basic Windows NT and DYNIX/PTX Unix administration, including user database updates, ManageNow™ interface for Tivoli Service Desk, Lyris© mailing list administration, password reset/aging, domain machine account creations, and user profile management.

Notable Accomplishments:

• Ethernet Conversion Project: Over the space of 3 weeks, I personally converted more than 90 laptops running Token Ring protocol to a dual hardware configuration capable of running Ethernet as well.
• Intranet Web Project I: Worked with local Site Operations group to develop an internal web version of a site wide safety manual.
• Intranet Web Project II: Flowcharted, consolidated and reformatted a large grouping of internal request forms (75+ pages)  to meet strict Web IBM standards. Developed a replacement process as a successor to an older process that was being retired and co-authored an interactive PERL script request form template for directing specific requests.
• Primary contact and point manager for PC Asset Retirement Program to assess, catalogue, label and ship out old PC assets to be retired.
• Built a standard PC image file for rapid deployment of 40+ PC’s.
• Assisted in programming and deployment of a localized Wireless Ethernet Project across the campus.

Began as a customer care representative working under notable accounts like Netscape, AOL, and Merill-Lynch, walking customers through software installs, configuration, and troubleshooting. Promoted to managerial position taking some calls, but mostly doing assists, manager calls,  QA call monitoring on other CCR's, and doing recursive training sessions.
