Dr. Carl Balog is an anesthesiologist who resides and works in Portland, Oregon. He has a double-board certification, from the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology. After achieving his four year degree, he went to medical school abroad at the Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary. Following his return he served an internship at the Berkshire Medical Center, which is an affiliate of the University of Massachusetts. He then went on to serve two residencies: one in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital, a Yale affiliate in Connecticut; and the other at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center.
