With more than two decades of experience in defense litigation, Bradley Schwartz holds responsibilities as founding member and Partner at Mordini & Schwartz, PC, in Chicago, Illinois. Bradley Schwartz established the law firm with partner Mark Mordini in 1996, drawing on four years of Cook County trial experience with Moss & Hillison. In 1995, he helped establish an in-house counsel representing auto insurance carriers and their insured. Mr. Schwartz and his partner left Moss & Hillison in 1996 to form their own defense practice focused on offering effective, no-frills counsel. Today, Bradley Schwartz manages the daily affairs of one of Chicago’s top defense litigation firms. He strives to defend Illinois companies and individuals brought to court for alleged intentional torts and accidental negligence. Over the past 16 years, he has led Mordini & Schwartz in bringing hundreds of cases to verdict throughout northern Illinois. Mr. Schwartz works closely with clients, consulting with and advising risk management professionals and insurance carriers. Bradley Schwartz attended the University of Kansas, Lawrence, pursuing a B.S. in Journalism and Public Relations. He was active with the campus radio station KJHK, serving as Director of Special Features and subsequently as Station Manager. During his time with KJHK, Mr. Schwartz earned a number of production awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. In 1989, he entered the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, earning his J.D. two years later. A former Chairperson of the Chicago Bar Association’s Municipal Practice Committee, Mr. Schwartz regularly speaks on trial matters at bar association seminars. Bradley Schwartz maintains membership in the Defense Research Institute, which represents the interests of over 20,000 U.S. lawyers and corporate counsel.
