Veteran entrepreneur and CPA Bob Patterson enjoys a reputation as a community builder and concerned corporate citizen in Louisville, Kentucky. From 1990 until 2012, he served as President and CEO of Consumers Choice Coffee, which eventually grew to dominate its market in the Ohio Valley and beyond. With his leadership skills and experience, Bob Patterson played an instrumental role in helping Consumers Choice Coffee achieve an annual return on equity of more than 13 percent for 20 years. The company’s performance, as well as its involvement in community development, drew accolades from numerous business groups. During Mr. Patterson’s years with the company, it won the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Award, achieved finalist status for the Better Business Bureau TORCH Award for Ethics in Business Practices, and earned a spot in the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Louisville. In 2012, outside investors acquired Consumers Choice Coffee. Soon thereafter, Bob Patterson founded his own accounting firm, Patterson & Company CPAs, PLLC. As a CPA and business executive, he has successfully positioned the firm as a leader in the areas of profitability, internal controls, fraud detection, and revenue and expense trends. A graduate of Liberty University, Mr. Patterson helped found the Louisville Park Hill Business Association and maintains membership in the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. He plays an active role in the West Louisville Economic Advisory Committee and the Downtown Louisville Rotary Club. When not involved in business activities as a CPA, Bob Patterson enjoys reading, scuba diving, and flying. A member of the Board of Directors of the Glendale Flying Club, he is an instrument-rated private pilot for land and sea.
