A writer for a well-known and highly regarded global travel publisher, Ashley Turner Doyle specializes in the destinations of Asia and Africa. She has spent a significant amount of time traveling to both continents. Having visited both well-traveled and remote areas, she has documented tribal life in untouched areas of Africa, as well as Asia's most popular tea houses and temples. Ashley Turner Doyle also maintains a thriving freelance writing and photography career, through which she has contributed to publications such as National Geographic, Travel and Leisure, Travel Everywhere, and Artipot.Ashley Turner Doyle received her Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Named to the dean's list, she graduated cum laude with membership in the Golden Key National Honor Society. Active in her college community, she participated on the student admissions committee, served as an orientation coordinator, and belonged to the cheerleading team.Following the receipt of her undergraduate degree, Ashley Turner Doyle enrolled at Loyola Law School in New Orleans. There, she continued her history of extracurricular involvement, participating in the International Law Society and Environmental Law Society. She also served as a volunteer tutor and worked with local organizations such as the New Orleans Legal Aid Corporation.Subsequently, she accepted a pharmaceutical sales representative position with Forest Laboratories. After just over two years, she transitioned to a similar role with the well-known firm Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where she promoted the popular cardiovascular drug Lotrel. She worked at Novartis before moving to New York with her family. She returned to the workforce in 2011 when she accepted her current travel writing position. She continues to explore Asia and Africa and to share her discoveries with readers worldwide.
