First Avenue Client - complete demolition and reconstruction of  decks, including all side and rear decks, complte restoration of all exterior areas of this Barry Hobben home constructed of  wood - Required all paint to be removed and reapplied with great care. As well, all fences surrounding this property were restored as were all concrete surfaces on the interior and exterior of the underground garage. New windows were designed and installed in front and side of home. Exterior Arch was demolished and constructed of durable materials and repleced rotting wood   The Result: This customer's home was returned to them in it's original pristine state and remains that way to this day.

General Contractor work during 2010 - replaced Major SEWER LINE(s) for home in Ottawa - video shows excavation and restoration works over a 3 month period, entire home mould remediation, kitchen gutted, including ceilings and walls and complete restoration with additional exterior renovations like chimney cladding, capping, eaves and leaf guard and repairs to all venting systems and complete stone paver patio, five pre-manufactured stairs and an additional 2nd patio construction work.

Summary

Around The Home Expert Handyman core strength is built upon the competencies of its principals,  who have a proven record of delivering cost effective results to clients. In addition, to standard handyman services Around The Home Expert Handyman Services also handles installation, new construction, repairs and other maintenance for many commercial and residential clients located well beyond the National Capital Area. For example, we install both window and blind systems for Costco's three (3) Ottawa Stores. We also handle commercial repair and construction work for seven (7) USA and Canadian Maintenance and Facility Management companies in retail fields. We also handle 'warranty work for Teron, Home Depot, Andersen, Jeld Wen & Masonite Exterior Doors and Windows. We provide technical maintenance and repair services for sophisticated security and locking mechanisms. To protect our clients ALL personnel have background screening by Local and National Police Forces. We maintain $2.0 Million Dollars of Insurance and have been Bonded. We are an accredited BBB members since 2004 and maintain an A+Rating and also attained Honour Roll Status. We are WSIB eCertificate Compliant for Ontario. Our skills cover interior and exterior areas and cover a vast range of experience over 30 years.
