As a consultant, speaker, and writer, I provide online media strategies for government and business. I am the author of AriWriter, where I write frequently about social media and online marketing, and am a contributing writer to Mashable and the Huffington Post.
In March 2009, I was hired on a part-time basis with Social Media Today as a community manager responsible for blogger outreach, site moderation, and front-end programming for two B2B online communities: the Sustainable Cities Collective and Governing People.
Active on many social networking sites, you can usually find me collaborating on Twitter, aggregating on FriendFeed, networking on LinkedIn, sharing on Govloop, updating on Facebook, uploading and tagging photos on Flickr, appreciating shared music on Blip.fm, and reviewing restaurants on Yelp.
In August 2008, I founded the Twitter Fan Wiki of U.S. Government users, acknowledged by the OpenCongress project. Within days, I was interviewed in Federal Computer Week about members of Congress using Twitter.
Are you a business or government agency eager to hire a social media consultant or online community manager? I help companies and individuals reduce overhead, increase productivity, and engage with customers and constituents using interactive marketing and online branding. I can assist you in determining which social networking tools are best.
I am actively seeking opportunities in social media and online marketing to leverage my 10 years of experience in information technology, community journalism, and government administration.
I hold a master’s in public administration from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University, and a bachelor’s in sociology from Worcester State College.
