As a young professional in the PR industry, I recently relocated to NYC to intern with Peppercom. There, I work on 5+ accounts in a variety of industries, including consumer, financial and professional services. I also work with PepperDigital, which is the agency's digital team.
My internship is set to end in late May 2010, so I'm looking to transition into a full-time, entry-level position with an agency in early June. I'm open to opportunities in NYC as well as those in other areas of the country.
In addition to my internship experience, I'm a social media enthusiast. I can be found on Twitter as @abschoff. I also blog about all things public relations, social media, branding and current events on my personal blog and am a contributing blogger at The Next Great Generation.
I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University where I earned my B.A. in communication with a focus on public relations. I also received minors in marketing and interdisciplinary studies. Through my coursework, I had the opportunity to work with various campus and community organizations, thus allowing me to hone my writing and research skills while creating public relations materials and campaigns.
